PRACTICES/SCHOOLS/TRAINING
Kartbahn Package
Kartbahn has confirmed that Monday evening practices will continue throughout the season starting June 15. The cost structure will be:
$300 for the first driver on a team (excludes fees from AMKA Practice/rookie school)
$200 for each additional driver on the same team (excludes fees from AMKA Practice/rookie school)
This fee covers all Kartbahn practices beginning June 15 and continuing for the remainder of the season. There is also the possibility of additional practice opportunities being added during the week or on weekends.
PAYMENTS for practices packages are to be sent directly to Kartbahn; etransfer to HKC@kartbahn.ca
Scotia Speedworld Practice
Two races are scheduled at Scotia Speedworld in August. Practice sessions leading up to those events will be focused on helping drivers adapt to the Speedworld layout.
These sessions will not be included in the Kartbahn practice package
AMKA registration information will be provided closer to those dates.
Here are dates and times:
August 11th – Practice (6pm-9pm)
August 16th – Race (7am-4pm)
August 23rd – Practice (9am-3pm)
August 29th – Practice (1pm- 4pm) AND Night Race (5pm-9pm)
AMKA Driver Development Training
AMKA will facilitate the majority of the Monday evening practices, and the Driver Development Program will be integrated into several of these sessions.
Now that practice scheduling has been finalized, Program Head Coaches Nick Roussakov and Kevin Stoneman will begin building the program schedule. We currently have 16 drivers registered and will be reaching out soon with additional details.
